Leagues and clubs are encouraging or compelling people to join the ECF. You can join by use of the ECF's online membership system. Norfolk have a Framework agreement with the ECF so their chessplayers should contact John Charman.

There are 4 levels of membership :-

Bronze: Suitable for people who only play club, league, and county championship games.
Silver: If you play in congresses then you will have to pay a higher entry fee if you are not a Silver member or above.
Gold: Required if you play in the 4NCL or British Championships.
Platinum: If you wish to give additional support to the ECF.
